This presentation highlights performance videos of the best of the best, including the Beatles and Rolling Stones, as well as those that performed at the legendary Woodstock festival. Watch amazing rock and rollers such as Crosby, Stills and Nash, Credence Clearwater Revival, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, The Who, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Grateful Dead, Santana and others. Also featured in this program will be one-hit wonders from the era, including Strawberry Alarm Clock and the Lemon Pipers (remember their big hits?).
The program also discusses how these artists influenced pop culture and society, compares and contrasts the music, and includes trivia questions for patrons to ponder. The presentation will conclude with a question-and-answer period. This will be a blast so join in!
