Join historical reenactor Muriel Dyas for an Evening with Mary Surratt. Mrs. Surratt was a boarding house owner in Washington, D.C., who was convicted of taking part in the conspiracy which led to the assassination of U.S. president Abraham Lincoln in 1865. President Johnson proclaimed that she provided "the nest that hatched the egg". Has history supported the claim, or has it revealed what she professed all along: Her innocence.

Muriel Dyas has been a historical reenactor for 25+ years. She has now brought 9 Scandalous women to life. She researches and writes her own plays to become better acquainted with her famous women.
