Our first event of the Summer Reading Program will be held Wednesday, June 24th from 10:00-11:30
The Housatonic Valley association will be here to teach kids about the water cycle learning about rain, making a thunderstorm, becoming a water droplet, and making a bead bracelet that participants will be able to take home with them.
The program is intended for children between 4-8, but all ages are invited to attend. Assuming the weather cooperates, we will be holding this program outside, behind the Dalton Youth Center (DYC). The DYC neighbors the library. In case of rain, we will be meeting in the library.
The Library is closed to the public on Wednesday mornings, but program participants will be able to use the library.
